Case No. 1: Mr. M.K. was such a Beech Type. He was very efficient, hard working and a successful business man, and honest in his dealings. He was very helpful to people in need and commanded respect in society. People sought his advice in business disputes, in taxation difficulties and even in family disputes. Yet he could not claim to have any friends. He was a very hard task master and wanted strict discipline amongst his juniors, his employees and his children. The worst part was that he could never find anything good in a person and criticized him for a failing which was not even his fault.
If an employee did some good work, M.K. would never utter a word of appreciation, and might even say “He could have done better”.
In his family he was very strict, finding every occasion to final fault, criticise and scold his children and his wife, and never finding occasion to utter a word of approbation for anybody. So long as he remained in home there was tension in the air, and as he left the house in the morning for office, relief was felt in the house. In the evening, when it was time for his return, there was uneasy quietness, a sort of undescribable awe descended on the inmates of the house, the children quietly slipping into then rooms, the house lady and the servants tensely waiting for their dose of criticism from the master. Bereft of love at home and outside home, M.K. led a very tense life. There was physical and mental tension, pain and stiffness of joints, constipation, bad stomach etc.
“Beech Remedy” was given T.D.S for a couple of months to change the temperament of M.K, and as the tension eased from his mind, his physical troubles subsided.
